Anime based on the work of Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki is now available

PLUTO the anime based on the manga created by Naoki Urasawa e Takashi Nagasaki is now available in the catalog Netflix.

Made by Studio Genco, Tezuka Productions and Studio M2 anime has eight episodes in total, approximately 1 hour long each, now available on the streaming platform streaming.

The original work was published between 2003 and 2009 and is based on the arc The Greatest Robot on Earth from the classic manga Astro Boy of Osamu Tezuka.

In an ideal world, where man and robots coexist, someone or something destroyed the powerful Swiss robot, Mont Blanc. Elsewhere, a key figure in a robot rights group is murdered. The two incidents appear to be unrelated… except for one very visible clue: the bodies of both victims were molded into a sort of bizarre collage complete with makeshift horns placed over the victims’ heads.

Interpol assigns Detective Gesicht to this strange and complex case, where he ends up discovering that he too, as one of the seven great robots in the world, is one of the targets.
