10 Things Only True Fans Know About Asta | Black Clover

Published

on

Was once a Detective

Black Clover, it accompanies Toshiaki Iwashiro's short-lived manga Kagamigami

In the early chapters of Black Clover, it accompanies Toshiaki Iwashiro’s short-lived manga Kagamigami. Kagamigami was a series about a character named Kyousuke Kagami, a young man capable of making contracts with Shikigami, astral spirits who love to possess people and cause trouble by teaming up with Mako Miyoshi, a young woman who is the detective would be.
To celebrate the release of the first volumes of both series, a crossover manga was released in which Asta joins Miyoshi’s detective agency. Of course, he couldn’t summon spirits, so he would just smack any threat in the face until Miyoshi told him to use some kind of Shikigami.

Asta has no interest in Harem

Harem

Surprisingly, despite his disrespect in everything else, Asta managed to be followed by a large number of women. There’s his girlfriend from the Black Bulls, Noelle. There’s also Mimosa from Golden Dawn, a member of the trio Yuno. Finally, there is Rebecca, a perfectly normal city girl.
Everyone admires him for his honesty, his openness, and his will to always do the right thing. bad he only carries a love for Sister Lily who raised him.

Has a Literal Demon Inside (Liebe him

Has a Literal Demon Inside (Liebe) him

Technically this is nothing new since Naruto had a nine-tailed fox demon inside him. But while everyone had to battle the inner power to gain dominance, it wasn’t the same with Asta.
Instead, the little magic knight felt dark power awaken within him as he fought an enemy, and instead of giving up, he decided to lead the demon. Asta refused to give up his body and instead gained access to the demon’s anti-magic abilities, granting him his first transformation.

Asta can use his 3rd sword to Break Curses

Asta can use his 3rd sword to Break Curses

Asta’s original weapon literally ignores every spell cast on it, invalidating it and putting Asta and everyone he faces on an equal footing. This worked to Asta’s advantage on several occasions, including once when he was fighting an opponent who was trying to keep the sword in his body to prevent Asta from using it just to slow him down when the sword paralyzed his magical sensitivity.
This turns out to be a harbinger of Asta’s acquisition of the third weapon, the Demon Destroyer Sword. With this weapon, Asta can absorb and remove the effects of spells and curses.

His Original Last Name was “STARIA

His Original Last Name was "STARIA"

Asta’s origins remain a mystery, as the character was abandoned at the Hage Village orphanage shortly after his birth. She spent her early years there and grew up with other children in her family. But if there’s one thing the hero never had, it’s a last name because he never had parents…at least not in the actual manga.
In the one-shot pilot series, he and Yuno have names. We learn that Asta’s last name was Staria. It’s actually a bit redundant since it’s named after a flower, which comes from a Greek word that actually means “Star.”

Asta is able to use others’ Magic with his Sword

Asta is able to use others' Magic with his Sword

Asta’s library has only provided him with a handful of swords so far. It’s a bit out of place on a show where everyone’s supposed to be a magician, but that’s the point. Unlike everyone else on the show, Asta not only has little talent for magic, but he also has no talent at all.
However, that doesn’t mean he can’t use it at all. The second sword that Diamond Realm soldier Mars acquires in battle allows him to absorb magic from others and store it for use in battle. He doesn’t use it often, but it’s still a powerful card to keep up his sleeve.

Asta was trained by an Enemy Soldier

This is explained later in the series when we learn that Asta took sword lessons from former Diamond Kingdom

In the first episode, Asta is given his grimoire, which has a sword on its pages. But while he spent most of his time training, it wasn’t about being good with a blade. But even upon reviewing Magic Knight, it shows an almost odd flair for how to use it.
This is explained later in the series when we learn that Asta took sword lessons from former Diamond Kingdom soldier Fanzell Kruger. While fleeing Diamond, Fanzell encountered Asta, who helped teach him how to fight while Asta helped him fend off the Diamond Kingdom’s soldiers.

Asta is able to Sense KI (」)

when Asta first faces the Eye of the Midnight Sun, he is taught a new technique by Black Bulls captain Yami Sukehiro

Though Asta never found a way to develop his ability to use magic, that doesn’t mean he just wields his sword wildly. During the arc, when Asta first faces the Eye of the Midnight Sun, he is taught a new technique by Black Bulls captain Yami Sukehiro.
This technique essentially translates into the sixth sense, allowing him to sense the life force of those around him. This allows Asta to react and attack faster than a normal human, making him an even more deadly close-range threat. Since Yami was from another country, it was a good idea that they could bring knowledge and skills from another country and culture

Creator Favorite Character (Asta)

Tabata admitted that the character she most resembled was actually the show's main character, Asta!

In an interview with Yuki Tabata for Weekly Shonen Jump during the December 2017 Jump Festival, some VIZ employees asked the creator which characters from his series he most resembled. Surprisingly, Tabata admitted that the character she most resembled was actually the show’s main character, Asta!
Even more surprisingly, in the same interview, Tabata editor Katayama was quick to agree with him due to his unrelenting positivity and inability to sit still. I think it’s a way to release a lot of pages every month.

One Of The Most Popular (Asta)  Characters In The Series

One Of The Most Popular (Asta) Characters In The Series

Seems clear already Asta is the main character, and it’s only natural that the main character is the most popular in the series considering the amount of attention he draws. But look at Deku to see how much work it really is. Black Clover, like many of our favorite action franchises, will be released in Weekly Shonen Jump.
From time to time, each manga conducts a popularity poll asking readers who their favorite characters are. Other main characters are often overshadowed by Dark Horse characters like their rivals, but not Asta: her tenacity and success despite not being the fastest or strongest have managed to win the hearts of Worldwide fans.
