New Anime Project for ‘Isekai de Cheat Skill’ in Progress

During the Fantasia Bunko Thanksgiving Festival 2023 event, a new anime project was announced for “Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too.” An illustration by original illustrator Rein Kuwashima was drawn to celebrate this announcement.

The first television anime of Millepensee consisted of 13 episodes, and it was released in the spring of 2023. The anime was streamed both subtitled and English-dubbed on Crunchyroll.

The anime series is an adaptation of Miku’s isekai fantasy light novel, also known as “Iseleve.” Miku commenced writing the novel on the Kakuyomu website in March 2017, around three years after launching “Shinka no Mi: The Fruit of Evolution: My Life Was Made Before I Knew It! Kadokawa began publishing fantasy and adventure story series of the same author, illustrated by Rein Kuwashima, with Fantasia Bunko imprint in December 2018. Volume 14 came out on June 20. “Iseleve” now boasts a cumulative 3 million print copies, including digital editions.

Kazuomi Minatogawa (known for “M3: A Web DenPlay Comic, started its manga version in December 2019 for Sono Kuroki Hagane”. The fifth volume was published on August 25 by Kadokawa.

Both the light novel and the manga were acquired by Yen Press in September 2021; the third volume of the light novel was released on August 22 and the third volume of the manga on April 18. The fourth light novel and manga volume is slated for release on December 12.
