Volume 1 of Yuki Sonisuke's ``Life as a young lady is difficult for a cheating slime craftsman!'' was released by Takeshobo today, April 7th. This is a comic adaptation based on a novel written by Tadano Gyo.

Uniri, a girl who works as a slime craftsman in a rural village, lives with her father and grows slime. The father wants to marry his daughter to someone with the best possible conditions, but Uniri feels like giving up, thinking that there is no way a rich monk can raise a slime. Meanwhile, he receives news that his older brother, who left home, will receive a peerage due to his accomplishments in battle, and that his family, including the Uniris, will automatically become nobles as well. Uniri was planning to marry a commoner who would be suitable for becoming a slime craftsman, but she can only marry a nobleman. Difficulties befall the Tamer Lady, who would rather take care of the slime than go out to social gatherings.
A 4-page manga booklet is included in the paperback book as a first-time limited bonus. Bookstore bonuses are also available, with Melon Books giving out newly illustrated cards and Gamers giving out newly drawn bromides.
