The Kiriko Uobai Film Marathon
The "Kiriko Uokami Special All-Night Screening" will be held at Pal Cinema Shinkoen in Kobe, Hyogo from 10:40 pm on May 3rd.

About the Films
Four films will be screened: "Blue," "Strawberry Shortcakes," and "Pumpkin and Mayonnaise," which were adapted into live-action versions of Uokami's original work, and "On the Town," directed by Rikiya Imaizumi, in which "Pumpkin and Mayonnaise" appears in the movie.
Tickets and Reservations
Tickets are sold at Peatix and the theater, and seat reservations are only available with advance theater tickets.
Kiriko Uokami is a manga artist born in Niigata in 1972. He made his debut in 1993 when "hole" was published in Monthly Manga Garo (Seirindo). From painful love experiences to the daily lives of young people depicted with a light touch, his works delicately depict vivid human relationships and the movements of the heart with beautiful lines, gaining popularity mainly in the 1990s. He passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 52.
