The TV anime "Sato-san, the salt-loving one, is sweet only to me" will begin broadcasting in October. Additional cast, first key visual, and character PV have been released.
"Salt-friendly Sato-san is only sweet to me" is a youth romantic comedy that depicts the first love of two unrequited lovers: Souta Oshio, who works as a cafe clerk, and Koharu Sato, who is rumored to be "Salt-friendly Sato-san." After Souta learns that Koharu is just shy and clumsy, the distance between the two grows closer and closer.

Additional cast members include Miyu Tomita who will play Rinka Sudo, Koharu's cousin who is a third-year middle school student, and Chiaki Kobayashi who will play Ren Misono, Souta's classmate and best friend. Yoshino Aoyama will play the role of Shizuku Mizono, Ren's older sister and a university student, and Hisako Kanemoto will play the role of Mayo Nezu, Shizuku's best friend who attends the same university. Yasunori Matsumoto will play the role of Seizaemon Oshio, Souta's father and the owner of Cafe Tutuji, and Yuki Wakai will play the role of Maruka Murasaki, a second-year high school student living in a coastal town. Comments were also received from the cast.
Advance Screening and Ticket Lottery
It has also been decided that an advance screening will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo on September 20th. Yosai Ishibashi, who plays Sota, Miku Ito, who plays Koharu, and Tomita, who plays Rinka, will be on stage. Lawson Tickets has started accepting advance ticket lottery tickets today, June 26th.
