Summer anime "I Fell Invisibly In Love With You Running On A Transparent Night." has released the synopsis and preliminary scene cuts of EPISODE 01 (Episode 1) 'Encounter', which will begin broadcasting on Monday, July 6, 2026.
The Story Behind the Anime
'Kakekoi' aka 'I fell in invisible love with you running into the transparent night.' is a pure love story based on the light novel by Shiba Nanagashi published by SB Creative 'GA Bunko' which won the grand prize at the '15th GA Bunko Awards' and won third place in the overall new work category at 'This Light Novel is Amazing! 2024'. The delicate depiction and heart-touching story were praised, and a live-action drama was made in December 2025, starring Riko Nagase and Daisuke Fujiwara.
Meet the Characters
The TV anime will be directed by Yuzuru Yoshizaki, and the animation will be produced by Makaria. The cast includes Miyu Irino as Kakeru Sorano, Saori Hayami as Koharu Fuyutsuki, Yoshimi Ohara as Yuko Hayase, and Yohei Asakami as Ushio Narumi.
Spring night. Kakeru Sorano, a shy university student, meets Koharu Fuyutsuki, a blind woman, at a party for new students invited by Narumi, his roommate in the university dormitory. She often laughed and talked about her dreams, and was the complete opposite of Sorano. From the day he picked up the white cane on his way home from lecture, the two of them gradually grew closer. "I want to have a fireworks display." For the first time, Sorano looked straight at the light that dwelled in those words. An invisible girlfriend and a closed-minded boyfriend. A delicate love story told by two people searching for light unfolds.
EPISODE 01 (Episode 1) 'Encounter'
Sorano reluctantly participated in the welcome party. As I watched the excitement surrounding me from afar, I unnaturally found a seat just for the two of us. It seems that when everyone found out that Fuyutsuki was blind, they left.
The pushy Hayase asks him to help Fuyutsuki with a lecture. Sorano is reluctant, but after picking up the white cane, he ends up having tea with Fuyutsuki...
