Isao Takahata's ``Anne of Green Gables'' will be re-screened at the UDX Theater in Tokyo for one day only on July 18th.

The TV anime ``Anne of Green Gables'' is based on Montgomery's novel ``Anne of Green Gables.'' In 1979, production staff representing the Japanese animation world, including director Takahata, Hayao Miyazaki, Yoshifumi Kondo, and Masahiro Ioka participated, and the work received strong support as a faithful adaptation of the original work. ``Anne of Green Gables: The Road to Green Gables'', which was released on July 17, 2010, is a theatrical version of episodes 1 to 6 from the 50 episodes of the TV series that were re-edited under Takahata's own supervision, and carefully depicts the beginning of Anne's story. Tickets for the screening will go on sale tomorrow, June 27th at 13:00 on the official Dolipas website.
