World Tour Unveiled: Singapore Kicks Off the Journey
Go Ueki’s ambitious stage rendition of Attack on Titan is finally hitting the global stage. After dazzling U.S. audiences in 2024, the production will swing through major cities, starting with a two‑week stint at Marina Bay Sands’ Sands Theatre from April 15 to May 2, 2027.

Visuals and Sound: A Fresh Take on the Titans
The new key visual, released alongside the trailer, shows a Scout Regiment member executing the iconic salute amid dramatic lighting. The musical blends high‑tech stage effects, kinetic choreography, and original songs that push the dark fantasy narrative into uncharted territory.
Hajime Isayama, the mastermind behind the manga, attended the Tokyo run and called the stage “the perfect medium to express the story of Attack on Titan.” He emphasized that the live performance adds emotional layers that differ from both the printed pages and the anime.
Creative Forces Behind the Production
Directed by Go Ueki—who also helmed the recent Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Shining Theater—the musical benefits from a seasoned crew. Scriptwriter Masafumi Hata crafted the narrative arc, while KEN THE 390 (known for Akudama Drive and Baki) serves as musical director. Lyricist Kaori Miura, famous for Onegai My Melody, contributed heartfelt verses that echo the series’ themes of sacrifice and hope.

Legacy and Market Impact
Even though the manga wrapped up in 2021, the franchise remains a cultural juggernaut. The recent film Attack on Titan: The Last Attack grossed roughly ¥1.45 billion in Japan and earned $3.6 million in North America after a limited 4K theatrical run.
Fans can still dive into the story via streaming services—Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu—or pick up the English volumes from Kodansha Comics USA. As more tour dates roll out, the musical promises to keep the Titan hype alive for years to come.
