The Release of Boatman Yasugoro Volume 1
Volume 1 of Kuroda Io's ``Boatman Yasugoro'' was released today, April 27th, by Reid Publishing. On the obi is a letter of recommendation from Natsugu Miyazaki.

Angoro is a sailor who travels up and down the Tone River on a takase boat, carrying cargo with his master Jinzaemon and a half-man Tensei. One night, the master, Jinzaemon, goes out, saying, ``I'll be back in the morning,'' but he never returns by the end of the night. Kichisaburo, the superior who manages the cargo, also appears, and Yasugoro is forced to leave for Edo, so he suddenly decides to become the boatman.
The Story Continues
The work is currently being serialized in Comic Ran (Reidsha), and the June issue, released on the same day, contains episode 7, which is a continuation of volume 1.
The first volume of ``Boat Yasugoro'' will come with a postcard at some bookstores. The pattern is a newly drawn one.
