The Legacy of Kiriko Uokami

A special feature on Kiriko Uokami is featured in the May issue of Eureka (Seidosha), which was released today, April 27th.

Uobai passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 52, leaving behind numerous works for the world. This issue features interviews, essays, columns, etc. as a special feature in memory of Uokami. Also included are illustrations and manga by Nakikaku Shibuya, Akiko Okuda, Mai Okafuji, Teruteru Hanazono, and Himo Tanaka that depict their feelings for Uokami.

Tributes from Celebrities and Artists

Celebrities from a variety of fields participate in the special feature, including manga artist Marie Yasuhiko, with whom he has a close friendship, musicians Yoshihide Otomo, Keiichi Sogabe, Natsuki Ogoda (Paspie), and novelists Mitsuyo Tsunoda and Shu Fujisawa.
