Volume 1 of Yoshiko Murase's ``I was reincarnated as the heroine of an otome game, but I was already being admired by the villainess ~I'll give up on love and master magic!~'', based on the original work by Rin Sakurada, was released today, March 26th. This school work is a comic version of Sakurada's novel, and is currently being serialized on Akita Shoten's web manga site Yanchan Web.
Jessica, a student at the Royal Academy of Magic who is being bullied for being a commoner, suddenly realizes that this is the world of the otome game she loved in her previous life, and that she is the heroine. Jessica is excited that she might be able to find a hidden character, but what awaits her is a world where the game's villainess, Raptse, is ridiculed. Due to Raptse's strategy, Jessica, who is supposed to be the heroine, is treated as a villain by the whole school. Then she meets Owen, an exchange student from a neighboring country.
The book includes a short story written by Sakurada. As a purchase bonus, Melonbooks is also distributing illustration cards.
