Arinaga Ine's new series ``Kami-sama End Roll'' started in the May issue of Elegance Eve (Akita Shoten), released today, March 26th. This work is a story about a ``relaxing end of life'' between a land god and a human who have one year left to live.
The main character is Tachikawa, a cat who has served as the land god of Tachikawa City for over 500 years. The story begins when Tachikawa receives a death notice from the government. When Tachikawa's term as a god expires, he is informed that he has one year left to live, and for some reason, he confides this to Chiyo, a human woman who lives with him... The last year of the life of two people who are strangely close to each other is depicted.
