"Keiko Suenobu's Addict: Exposing the Brain Bug"

Keiko Suenobu's new series ``Addict'' started in the May issue of BE・LOVE (Kodansha), released today, April 1st.

The work, written by Suenobu of ``Life'' and ``Ochitara Owari,'' is an ``addiction drama'' that exposes the ``brain bugs'' that lurk in everyone's lives, such as gambling, alcohol, and drugs. Arisa discovers the joy of pachinko through her boyfriend, but before she knows it, she is surrounded by lies and debt. Haruka Tsunagi, a genius counselor who can smell addiction, appears in front of her.

In the same issue, two works were also launched: Yui Sakuma's ``What We Saw'' and Hisashi Asahina's ``The Poisoned Princess's Wedding'' based on the original story by Mika Uzuki. ``What We Saw'' is a country side horror story that follows a series of incidents that occur in a certain village. ``The Poison Princess's Wedding'' is a Taisho fantasy love story about Akari, who was born into a special family with poisonous body fluids.
