The New Anime Adaptation
Ryohei Kimura will play the role of Alexis Josef Ralt, and Ryota Suzuki will play the role of Iele Ecrux in the anime ``The next duke who said, ``I have no intention of loving you,'' is based on the original work by Kei Misawa and Natsu Mizuno.
Character Roles
Alexis, played by Kimura, is the crown prince of Ralt and the lord of Julius Loias. In order to make the Yukalainen Duke family an ally before they are taken advantage of by domestic rebels, he orders his close aide Julius to marry Elsa Yukalainen. Also, Iele, played by Suzuki, is a close aide to Crown Prince Alexis, just like Julius. He is a bit of a clean freak, and has a personality that is not suited for political schemes.
The Storyline
``The next duke who said, ``I have no intention of loving you,'' has come to dote on you for some reason'' will begin airing in July. This heartwarming romantic comedy begins with Elsa, the daughter of a fallen aristocrat who lives a positive life despite her poverty, and Julius, the next Duke, who is elite but clumsy and aggravated, and they enter into a contract marriage on the same day they meet due to their mutual interests.
