Arakawashin's ``Until the chore granting magician realizes he is the strongest'', originally written by Tsubasa Tokura, will be made into an anime in January 2027. The dithered visual for the same work has been released. Leiji Kawashima will play the role of Wim Strauss, and Kana Hishikawa will play the role of Heidemarie.
"Until a chore enchanter realizes he is the strongest" is a story where Vim, a behind-the-scenes "enforcer" who supports his friends by strengthening them (buffs), begins to move after being expelled from the party. The story depicts Wim being guided by his childhood friend and stalker, Heidemarie, as he becomes a member of the largest party, ``Naki Rivera.'' The original work is currently being serialized in Futabasha's Gaugau Monster Plus and Manga Gaugau.
The teaser visual depicts a scene in which Vim fights with a machete using an enchantment technique. The anime is directed by Hideki Okamoto. Series composition is by Taka Yoshioka, character design is by Yu Murakami, and music is by Yuki Hayashi, Luke Standridge, and Asa Taylor. Also, animation production will be done by J.C.STAFF.
Togura sent a message to his fans, saying, ``They are wonderful people with solid skills and talent, and full of love for their work.I hope you will look forward to them and look forward to their next news.'' Arakawa also commented, ``There are things I can't say yet that make me wonder if it's just a dream.'' Regarding the appeal of the original work, Kawashima said, ``I love how the process in which Vim, who has lost his confidence in an unreasonable environment, redefines his own value through encounters with new friends is very carefully depicted!''
An exhibition will appear at the Starry Cube booth at "AnimeJapan 2026" which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28th and 29th. In addition to photo spots, special shoppers and original trial reading booklets will be distributed free of charge.
