Deep within a forgotten valley, where the sun and moon dictate more than just the time, twin siblings Yuru and Asa live lives as divergent as day and night. Yuru, the elder, roams free, a skilled hunter of the wild. Asa, however, is a prisoner, bound by an ancient duty to a gilded cage, her world limited to a chosen few. This delicate balance shatters when metallic "dragons" descend from the sky, unleashing armed men on a single-minded mission: find Yuru. The village erupts in a massacre, adults falling like dominoes. Yuru fights through the carnage, desperate to reach Asa, only to find a chilling scene: his sister's lifeless body. And standing over it, a woman who claims to be his *true* twin, an ominous shadow of his past. Before this chilling imposter can seal his fate, Yuru is snatched from the brink by Dera, an enigmatic outsider who knows more than he lets on. But their escape is short-lived; the hunters close in. Cornered and out of options, Dera forces Yuru into a desperate act: an offering to the village's ancient deity.
