New Updates: "Ponska" Anime Cast and Theme Song Details Revealed
There is some really great news for fans of romantic comedy manga! The upcoming TV anime adaptation of The Story of a Ponkotsu Disciplinary Committeeman and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length, which is based on the original work by Takuma Yokota, has finally locked in its broadcasting schedule. It is officially set to start airing on April 6th. Along with this big announcement, the production team has also dropped a bunch of other exciting details, including more cast members, the main visual, a full promotional video (PV), and information regarding the opening and ending themes.
The Story and New Characters

It all starts when Togo Sakuradaimon, who is a super serious and straight-laced member of the school's disciplinary committee, crosses paths with Kohinata Emi. While Sakuradaimon is dedicated to following every rule, he is actually quite hopeless when it comes to studying. On the other hand, Emi is a typical high school girl who constantly gets into trouble for her "inappropriate" skirt length. Their interaction is just pure gold, which is the story of a ponkotsu disciplinary committeeman at its best.
The new cast members joining the team are also quite impressive:
- Yuko Kaida will be voicing Yamato Nadeshiko, the student council president who is basically perfect in everything, from studies to martial arts.
- Toru Inada is taking on the role of Kaoru Furugori, the very serious and rugged-looking vice president of the student council.

Coming to the music, the opening theme will be Osage's "Hitorigoto", while the ending theme is titled "Room to Garakuta to Watashi" by Me Minor. Both the musical artists and the new cast members, Kaida and Inada, have shared their comments regarding the project.
