The new ending theme song for the TV anime "Chibi Maruko-chan" based on the original work by Momoko Sakura has been decided as "Pappa Paradise" by Hikaru Utada. This is the first change in about six and a half years since Kazuyoshi Saito's sung "Utsumono no Sekyou", and it will be aired for the first time on "Chibi Maruko-chan Cherry Blossoms: Happiness to Everyone! Spring 1 Hour Special" which will be broadcast on March 29th.

``Pappa Paradise'', which was written and composed by Utada, will be the ending theme song for the 13th movie of ``Chibi Maruko-chan''. This was made possible by an offer from Sakura Productions. Sakura Productions said, ``Sakura Momoko loves Hikaru Utada's songs, and has been working on the album ``First''. Love," "SAKURA Drops," and "traveling" at home. These songs, which I listened to over and over again with my then-young son, are filled with irreplaceable memories for Momoko Sakura and for her family as well. "I wonder what kind of life experience she had to go through to write such wonderful lyrics at such a young age. As her name suggests, she said, ``She's a person who sings and shines,'' and she spoke in words typical of Sakura,'' she says, revealing an episode related to Sakura and Utada. Producer Yoshinori Takeeda of the Fuji TV Animation Production Department said, ``'Pappa Paradise' is a song that conveys the image of ``a positive and upbeat tempo'' and ``a song that gives you hope for tomorrow, making you wonder if tomorrow will come sooner.''Utada wrote and composed the lyrics himself, and we were able to provide a song that is typical of ``Chibi Maruko-chan'' and fits well with ``Chibi Maruko-chan.''
The ``Chibi Maruko-chan Cherry Blossoms in Bloom - Good luck to everyone! Spring 1-hour special'' features ``Maruko Goes to Sengen Shrine,'' which depicts Maruko and her friends jumping out of their local Shimizu area and going on an unusual trip to Fujinomiya and Sengen Shrine, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. In addition, the heart-warming episode of Maruko and the lost turtle, ``Maruko and the Lost Turtle,'' and the story of Maruko's dream that she had as a result of the cheerful spring weather, ``Maruko Dreams of a Warm, Cheerful, and Mysterious Dream,'' will also be broadcast.
