Natoshi Matsue's new series ``History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi 2 ~Master Edition~'' began serialization on Sunday Weburi today, March 25th. Additionally, the first episode was published in Weekly Shonen Sunday issue 17 (Shogakukan), which was released today.
"History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi 2 - Master Edition" is a sequel to "History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi" written by Matsue Na. In the previous work, Kenichi Shirahama, a weak high school student with the strongest sense of justice, meets Miu Furinji, a classmate and martial artist, and enters Ryozanpaku, a dojo where martial arts masters live. The story depicts him growing strong and strong after receiving the teachings of masters. In the first episode of "History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi 2 - Master Edition", Kenichi and Miu continue to spend their days training. While Kenichi once again strengthens his resolve to become a master, the beginning of a new battle is also hinted at.
