New Kill Ao PV Showcases Juzo in Perilous School Life

The buzz around the upcoming television anime adaptation of Kill Ao is reaching new heights. Based on the original manga work by Tadatoshi Fujimaki, who is the famous creator behind Kuroko's Basketball, the second main PV and second key visual have finally been released to the public. This latest update has really got fans talking about how the action and comedy elements will translate onto the screen.

The second main PV kicks off with quite a dramatic scene where the legendary assassin, Juzo Dairo, is stung by a mysterious bee while he is right in the middle of a high-stakes mission. Instead of anything fatal happening, he actually gets transformed into a middle school student. This is where his "cool" life begins, as he is forced by his commander to infiltrate a junior high school. The trailer shows some really interesting scenes where Juzo is trying to adjust; he is seen grieving his lost adult life but also getting strangely absorbed in his middle school studies.

We also get our first proper looks at his partner Kotatsu Nekota and the head of the home economics club, Chisato Shiraishi. As the trailer moves into the second half, things get even more chaotic with a series of unique characters appearing one after another. This is mostly triggered by Noren Mitsuoka, who is the daughter of a major corporation, making a very bold and public declaration that Juzo is her boyfriend. It is these kind of moments that explain why Kill Ao is the next big hit for those who love high-school drama mixed with weird twists.

Intense Action and Character Dynamics

The PV doesn't just focus on the school life though. It includes some very intense action scenes featuring Shin Furonami going up against Juzo. We also get glimpses of other important characters like Tenma Tendo, Kazuma Ryudo, and Eiji Ryudo. The animation looks quite sharp, especially during the combat segments which remind us of Fujimaki-sensei's talent for dynamic movement.

The new key visual is also very striking. It depicts Juzo standing in a pose where he is holding a textbook in his left hand while gripping a gun in his right hand. This perfectly sums up the duality of his new life. Noren and the other classmates are also featured prominently in the background, giving us a feel for the ensemble cast that will support Juzo's journey.

TV Anime “Kill Ao” Main PV 2nd Installment

Kill Ao is officially scheduled to start broadcasting from April 11th, 2026. For those who are new to the story, it follows the life of Juzo, a 39-year-old top-tier assassin who suddenly finds himself in the body of a 13-year-old child. To find a way back to his original form, he has to survive the battlefield that is modern middle school. The talented Yuko Sanpei will be voicing the child version of Juzo, bringing a lot of energy to the character's internal frustrations and external antics.
