Sailor Moon's Rarest New Chibiusa Pin Requires Collectors to Complete the Set
FiGPiN has officially released its Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Mystery Mini Series 2, headlined by an ultra-rare gold Chibiusa pin limited to just 100 pieces worldwide. This new collection is a must-have for any Sailor Moon collector, with its unique pin designs and challenging rarity tiers.
The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
The Mystery Mini Series 2 is inspired by the '90s anime version of the franchise, with 14 different designs across multiple rarity tiers. The collection includes Common pins featuring Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Mercury, as well as glow-in-the-dark versions of the same four characters.
Sailor Moon and Sailor Pluto appear as Rare releases, Luna P and Neo Queen Serenity are Super Rare, and Chibiusa serves as the collection's Hyper Rare before collectors can work toward redeeming the limited-edition all-gold version.
Collecting the Rarest Pin
Unlike the rest of the lineup, the all-gold Chibiusa pin cannot be pulled from a mystery box. Instead, collectors must first unlock the collection's four Common, two Rare, and two Super Rare pins through the FiGPiN app before becoming eligible to redeem the exclusive design.
The collection has been nearly a year in the making, with Sailor Moon fans first catching an early glimpse of Mystery Mini Series 2 in late 2025. Official preorders later opened through BoxLunch in June 2026 ahead of the collection's San Diego Comic-Con debut, with the retailer currently listing an October release window.
