Mizuho Kusanagi's ``Akatsuki no Yona Gaiden 1'' is published in Hana to Yume No. 6 (Hakusensha), released today, February 20th.
"Akatsuki no Yona" was completed in December 2025. Gaiden 1, ``Until the Coronation Ceremony,'' depicts the members of Koka Province at the time when it was decided that the coronation ceremony would be held in Kokka Province, where the dragon god had disappeared. "Gaiden 2" will be published in the combined issue of Hana to Yume 10/11, which will be released on April 20th. In addition, this issue also includes a ``Commemorative Completion! ``Akatsuki no Yona'' Memorial Fan Book''. It includes a four-page interview with Kusanagi, answers to questions from readers, and the making of the color illustration for the final episode.
Volume 47 of "Akatsuki no Yona" is also released today. In addition to the regular edition, a special edition with 64 pages of A5 size illustrations was also published at the same time.
