It has been a really big day for all the manga fans out there because it has just been revealed that the second part of Tatsuki Fujimoto's super hit series "Chainsaw Man" is going to conclude on March 25th. This major announcement was actually made in episode 231, which was broadcast on the Shonen Jump+ platform today, March 11th. For those of us who have been following Denji's journey from the very start, this news feels quite sudden but also very significant. If you are still catching up or wondering why Chainsaw Man is a must watch, this news hits right at the heart of the community.

For those who might not know, "Chainsaw Man" is essentially a dark hero action story set in a gritty world where dangerous demons exist everywhere. The plot follows Denji, a young boy who ends up with a chainsaw demon living inside his body. It is a story full of intense emotions and very unexpected twists. The first part of the manga was serialized in the famous Weekly Shonen Jump magazine by Shueisha from 2018 to 2020, and it really took the world by storm. After a small gap, the second part started being published on Shonen Jump+ from July 2022 onwards, bringing in new characters like Asa Mitaka and shifting the narrative style quite a bit.

Special Celebration and Free Reading Campaign

To celebrate the big conclusion of this current series arc, Shonen Jump+ is doing something very nice for the readers. They have announced a special campaign where fans can read a large portion of the story for free. This is a great chance for new readers to understand the hype and see why Chainsaw Man is a must watch before the final chapter arrives.

  • Part 1 Access: The first 40 episodes of the initial saga are available for free.
  • Part 2 Access: The first 49 episodes of the current "Academy Saga" are also free to read.
  • Deadline: This free access is only available until April 8th, so you must hurry up if you want to binge-read it.

There is also a lot of talk about the upcoming anime projects. The special site "Chainsaw Man Natalie" is regularly delivering the latest information regarding the movie version focusing on the "Reze" arc. Even though the manga part 2 is ending, the hype for the anime adaptation is still very much alive. Fans are eagerly waiting for news on the "Resé" movie and other original articles related to the franchise.

October 8, 2025, marks another important milestone in the series' timeline, and we can only hope that Tatsuki Fujimoto has more surprises planned for us in the future. Whether there will be a Part 3 or a new project altogether, the legacy of Denji and Pochita is definitely going to remain in our hearts for a long time. It has been a wild ride since 2018, and seeing it reach this point is truly a bittersweet moment for every fan. [PR]
