Rei Shioshima's new series ``Usukawai Chimaimukou Gawa ~A second life after an engagement is broken off, the eyes that see Ayakashi leading to the strongest soldiers~'' started today, March 28th, on Overlap's Comic Gardo. This is a comic adaptation of Mugi Mameda's novel, and was previously serialized in Comic Seymour.
The main character, a girl, has been viewed as creepy because of her eyes that show strange shapes. Her late grandfather had told her that her powers would come in handy someday, but she lost her life and was reincarnated in another world without seeing anything good happen to her. She was born as Satsuki, the eldest daughter of a famous family, but due to her lack of magical powers, she was branded as incompetent and treated like a servant. Moreover, just like in her previous life, her eyes reflected a strange shape that was invisible to those around her. Satsuki's destiny begins to change when she meets Ichii, a military man who notices Satsuki's ability to see strange forms.
