My Hero Academia x Sea Paradise: A Unique PLUS ULTRA Experience with Sea Creatures
Fans of the hit series are in for a real treat as a special collaboration event titled PLUS ULTRA with sea creatures is all set to take place very soon. This exciting crossover between the popular anime My Hero Academia, based on the famous manga by Kohei Horikoshi, and the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama is scheduled from March 24th to May 7th. It is definitely one of the top reasons why you need to experience the anime and manga in person through such creative events. The venue, located in Kanagawa Prefecture, will be transformed to host our favourite heroes alongside some amazing marine life.

A brand-new visual has been specially drawn for this collaboration, featuring Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugou, Shoto Todoroki, Denki Kaminari, Ochako Uraraka, and Tsuyu Kaburubuki. Interestingly, they are all seen wearing the official Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise staff costumes, which looks quite cool. In the background of this visual, you can see dolphins jumping around, adding to the aquarium vibe. For those who love collecting merch, various goods using these new illustrations and even mini character versions will be sold inside the facility.
Exclusive Merchandise and Walk Rally Activities
The merchandise lineup is quite impressive and includes items like acrylic stands and printed cookies. Also, if you end up purchasing items worth over 2,000 yen (including tax), you will get a special illustration card as a bonus. It’s a great way to stock up on limited edition items while enjoying your day out at the sea paradise.

Special tickets with limited benefits are also being made available for the fans. These sets usually include:
- One-day pass: This gives you access to four different aquariums and various attractions.
- Walk Rally Sheet: A necessary item if you want to participate in the interactive rally.
- Character Fan: You can choose from six different patterns featuring your favourite characters.
If you don't get the set, the walk rally sheets can be bought separately for 700 yen at the ticket counter. By participating and completing the keywords using letters collected around the park, you can win a clear illustration card. You have the option to choose between the newly drawn tall illustration or the cute mini character version.
Immersive Audio Guidance and Themed Food
One of the biggest highlights is happening at the Aqua Theater on the 5th floor of the Aqua Museum. Here, you can watch the sea creatures while listening to a freshly recorded audio guide featuring the voices of Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugou. This is truly why you need to experience the anime and manga magic through high-quality voice acting. The session lasts about 15 minutes and costs 1,000 yen. Do keep in mind that each session only allows around 100 people, so it might get crowded fast. Plus, participants get a random holo sticker from a set of four types.

Lastly, no anime event is complete without themed food. You can try dishes inspired by Deku, Bakugou, Todoroki, and Uraraka. There is even a Hawks' Teriyaki Chicken Crepe available for fans of the Number 2 hero. Every drink order comes with a straw marker and a character coaster, making it a complete fan experience.
