The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
The sacred site pilgrimage map introduces the mountain passes that appear in "Initial D" and "Subaru and the Comet" and the shrines around them. You can collect stamps while driving around the locations of the works.
Exclusive Illustrations
The cover of the ``Initial D'' Goshuin Book with Pilgrimage Map to the Holy Land uses an illustration of Project D members that Shigeno drew for the 30th anniversary advertisement of the series. The accompanying map includes illustrations of sacred places in Gunma Prefecture, the Kanagawa area where the expedition took place, and famous scenes from the work.
The map for ``Subaru and Comet'' features visuals of the two characters' hometowns of Gunma and Kanagawa prefectures, as well as race venues, etc. The price is 3300 yen each including tax. In the future, it is planned to be sold at shrines across the country.
