The broadcast start date of the TV anime "Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen" based on the original work by Hiroshi Shiibashi has been decided in July. At the same time, new characters and their cast, broadcast support visuals, and the second PV were released.

``Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen'' is a romantic tale set in the 1910s that depicts Kodo Iwamoto, a junior high school student who carries out a mission at an institution that collects and researches paranormal phenomena that can be used by the military. The new information was announced today, March 29th, at "AnimeJapan 2026" being held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo.
Akira Ishida will play the principal of Seiho Junior High School, a certain Ichiro Tachibana, and Katsuya Fukunishi will play Yuji Oku, a fourth-year student at Seiho Junior High School and vice president of the student council. Takuma Nagatsuka will play the role of Shizuma Aonuma, a mysterious boy whom Iwamoto meets in Kuroi Snowfall Village, where he receives orders and goes to investigate. Three people appear in the broadcast support visual: Iwamoto, Umi Haramachi, and Soichiro Amaha. The second PV also includes the voices of the characters whose cast was announced today.
