All Seven Nations Rally Against the Celestial Nails
The upcoming Version 7.2 drops on November 4, 2026, and it’s a true rally‑call. The Tsaritsa summons envoys from Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Natlan, Fontaine, and her own Snezhnaya to halt the relentless surge of the Nails of Retribution. Players will dive straight into an Archon Quest where the Archons, Neuvillette, and a host of familiar faces unite for a desperate stand.
New Story Beats and Rewards
Finish the main quest before the timed window closes and you’ll pocket 560 Primogems plus Character Ascension Materials for the fresh Electro hero Mitya. Secret Tsarist Assignments sprinkle extra loot, including a limited‑edition Snezhnaya‑styled Wind Glider.
Exploring Novokitezhgrad: Snezhnaya’s Hidden Crystal City
Version 7.2 pushes Snezhnaya eastward, unveiling Novokitezhgrad—a sprawling underground metropolis encased in glittering Kresnik Kristall. The city sits beneath snow‑capped peaks and serves as the primary source of the rare crystal. While trekking through, players confront the Holy Soil phenomenon unleashed by Ronova, wielding new Prime Ice Constructs and elemental shotguns to clear hazardous zones.
Alongside the main narrative, a fresh set of Meeting Point quests sees Danica cross paths with Mitya during a covert cleanup mission, while Mitya investigates strange soil near Teplo Oasis.
New Playable Faces: Mitya and Valeriy Join the Roster

Mitya arrives as a 5‑star Electro Catalyst wielder. His kit converts Superconduct reactions into Stellar‑Conduct, boosting party damage and generating a unique energy that fuels both his Skill and Burst. The Skill releases periodic Stellar‑Conduct damage, while holding it triggers a rapid flurry of enhanced Charged Attacks, letting him fluidly switch between on‑field and off‑field roles. His Burst deals AoE Electro damage and creates extra energy, even revealing hidden paths in Snezhnaya.
Valeriy, a 4‑star Electro Sword user, provides sturdy shields and buffs Electro damage, making him a solid backbone for Stellar‑Conduct teams. Both characters debut in the first phase of the update, sharing the banner with Furina’s much‑anticipated return.

What’s Next?
The second phase will recycle Zibai and Linnea banners and introduce a Chronicled Wish spotlighting Natlan heroes. As always, Genshin Impact remains free‑to‑play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android, promising endless exploration for both veterans and newcomers.
