The TV anime “Is it a landmine? Jibara-san” based on the original work by Ryon will begin broadcasting in the “Super Animeism TURBO” slot on 28 MBS/TBS stations from January 2027. Additional cast and staff have been announced.

``Is it a landmine? Jihara-san'' is a romantic comedy that begins when high school student Kuroki takes a seat next to Jihara-san, a girl who is rumored to be a landmine type. Sayumi Suzushiro will play the role of Mai Jihara, and Nozomi Urawa will play the role of Kuroki. The director is Yasuaki Fujii, the series composition is by Keiichiro Daichi, the character design is by Majiro, and the animation production is by SynergySP. Additional cast members include Maaya Uchida as Chinatsu Iwakura, Tomokazu Sugita as Hibiya, and Daisuke Ono as Kazami.

Music Project Unveiled
Ahead of the broadcast of the TV anime, a music project by Mai Jihara, the heroine of the same work, has started. In this project, Jihara's close friend Chinatsu Iwakura will serve as the general producer and will produce all aspects of "artist Mai Jihara." In the released artist visual, Mai Jihara is seen wearing a gothic-style costume based on red and black. In the teaser video that was released at the same time, it was announced that the first cover song, Alien Alien by Nayutan Alien, would be digitally released on July 25th.
