Makoto Morishita's "Sudachi no Maojo" will be made into a TV anime. It will be broadcast in January 2027. Teaser visual, teaser PV, main cast and staff have been released.
The Story of Sudachi's Demon Castle
「すだちの魔王城」は、勇者が魔王を倒し平和になった世界で、道具屋を営む少年・ムラビトと、元魔王の少女・マオ、休職中の勇者・アッシュを軸に描くファンタジー。 The story unfolds when Murabito, who runs a sudachi shop in a "Level 1 village" that was once crowded with adventurers, meets Mao, a mysterious girl with golden eyes.
Main Cast and Staff
Leiji Kawashima will play the role of Murabito, and Rumi Okubo will play the role of Mao. The teaser PV, in which the character voices of Murabito and Mao were released, depicts the beginning of a story in which the fate of Murabito, who was an ordinary villager, takes a big turn.

Animation production was handled by project No.9, which also produced works such as ``The Angel Next Door Turned Me into a No-Good Person'' and ``The Invisible Man and the Human Woman - The Two of Us Will Become a Couple Sooner or later.'' The director is Jun Hira, the series composition is by Keiichiro Daichi, and the character designs are by Katsuyuki Sato.
Regarding the anime adaptation, Morishita, who wrote the original work, commented, ``This work, which started out as a simple fantasy of ``It seems like it would be tough to be a tool shop in the RPG world after peace,'' has grown through the support of various people, including the editorial department, Mr. Ashi, and the readers, and now my big dream of ``animation'' has finally come true!!''
