Shinnosuke Tokudome and Shuichiro Umeda have been selected as the main cast of the TV anime "Ore to Yuu-ni!" based on the original work by Yuki Nakayama. Staff and teaser visuals have been released.

"Shota Oni" was announced to be made into a TV anime under the title "Me and Yuu-ni!". The film depicts the casually blissful daily lives of Tsubaki Sawashiro, a fifth-year elementary school student who tries her best to impress her childhood friend, high school student Yu Shimizu, and Yu, who can't help but find Tsubaki so cute. Tokudome will play the role of Tsubaki Sawashiro, and Umeda will play the role of Yu Shimizu. The teaser visual features Tsubaki and Yu admiring the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
The director is Mariko Hashinomoto, and the series composition is by Yuniko Ayana. Comments have arrived from director Hashimoto, Ayana, and main cast members Tokudome and Umeda.
