To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the serialization of Machiko Hasegawa's ``Sazae-san'' in April, a special program ``Dolphin, I'm going to meet Sazae - Machiko Hasegawa's particular world celebrating the 80th anniversary of the original work'' will be broadcast on Fuji TV TWO from 10:00 on March 28th.

From the special program "Dolphins go to meet turban shells - The 80th anniversary of the original work - The world of Machiko Hasegawa's obsession"

In the special program, Iruka, a singer-songwriter, graduate of Joshibi University of Art and Design, and active as a picture book author, served as the navigator. We look back at the history from the birth of the original to the present and the behind-the-scenes aspects of Hasegawa's creation, along with valuable materials, and unravel the charm and depth of "Sazae-san," which continues to be loved throughout the ages. Iruka also commented, ``I realized once again why there are so many of the works that Ms. Machiko devoted her life to creating, and why they continue to be loved by so many people.''

Also, Fuji TV TWO will start broadcasting the anime "Sazae-san" on April 1st. Two episodes aired on terrestrial TV starting in April 2016 will be broadcast every Monday to Friday from 12:00 noon.
