The Touken Danshi visual drawn by Moto Hagio, Ryoko Yamagishi, and Kazunori Yamato has been released for the stage play 'Noh Kyogen Touken Ranbu' based on the smartphone game 'Touken Ranbu ONLINE.'
The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
'Noh Kyogen Touken Ranbu' is a new stage production that fuses the traditional Japanese performing arts of Noh and Kyogen with the worldview of 'Touken Ranbu.' The first performance, 'Yougumo Hen,' will be performed starting at the National Noh Theater in Tokyo on July 28th and 29th.

As collaboration illustrations for the same performance, Hagio drew Higekiri and Hizamaru, Yamato drew Kogitsunemaru, and Yamagishi drew a mysterious swordsman. In addition, 'Yougumo Hen' is credited with Yaeko Ninagawa's comic version 'Touken Ranbu Gaiden Ayakashitan' as a special cooperation.
