Chie Shinohara's "The Lion Standing at the Dawn" is now available for free on Shogakukan's web manga site Furakomi Like! It is being held for 24 hours only today, February 22nd.
This event is being held to commemorate today, February 22nd, as "Cat Day." Shinohara is known as a big cat lover, and at one time lived with a total of seven cats. Because lions are feline animals, Furakomi like! ``The Lion Who Stands at the Dawn'' was released for free.
In addition, on the ``Cat History'' section of the ``Shinohara Sen Painting 45th Anniversary Site'', all about the cats of the Shinohara family are revealed for the first time. A portion of the “Phantom Cat Essay Manga” will also be shown.
Furthermore, on February 27th, the first volume of the beloved edition of ``Ryouko's Ghost Case Files,'' in which the white cat Poe plays an active role, will be released.
