Volume 1 of the book ``To You in a Place Farther Than Anywhere'' was released today, February 19th.
The work is a comic adaptation of Akiko Abe's boy-meets-girl novel, which has also been decided to be made into an animated film. The story begins when Kazuki Tsukigase, a boy with a secret, goes to Kagishima High School on a remote island in search of an environment where he doesn't know anyone. There is a place on the island called Spirited Away Cove, and one summer, Kazuki discovers a girl lying there. In a state of clouded consciousness, the girl is asked, ``Do you know what year it is?'' The year should be 2017, but she mutters ``1974.'' The manga is written by Haruka Chino. Melonbooks is distributing illustration cards as a bonus for purchasing the book.
