The first volume of ``Fukami-kun in the Seat Next Door May Become an Idol'', based on the original work by Haru Aoyama and illustrated by Chizuharuka, was released today, February 25th.
The main character, Akane Hayasaka, loves the survival audition program, commonly known as Sabahban, where talented people compete to become idols. One day, Akane learns that the handsome man sitting next to her, Fukami, has passed the document screening for a famous audition program. At first, Fukami wasn't too enthusiastic, but pushed by Akane's enthusiasm, she decided to seriously aim for her debut in first place. Akane is asked to produce for this purpose, but as she gets involved with him, she gradually develops feelings for him that are more than just a ``push''. ``Fukami-kun from the seat next to me might become an idol'' is currently being serialized in Bessatsu Margaret (Shueisha).
