In the 8th issue of Sho-Comi (Shogakukan) released today, March 19th, two new series have started: ``The Dragon Clan and the Young Lady's Duty: Too Heavy 2000 Years of Doting'' by Tail Yuzuhara, and ``Initial Impulse in Gunjo'' by Yoshi Hojo.

``The Dragon Clan and the Lady's Count: Two Thousand Years of Heavy Love'' is an otherworldly love story about Elna, a girl who has scales on her body for an unknown reason. After losing her mother, the only person who loved her, due to illness, she was despised by her father, stepmother, and stepsister, and was treated like a servant. The only thing that supports her in such a lonely state is her feelings for the dragon tribe that lives in the powerful country above.
The setting for "Gunjo ni Initial Impulse" is the small "Tsukigashima", a three-hour boat ride from Tokyo. Nozomi, a high school girl at Tsukigaoka High School, which is attended by locals, is concerned about Ten, a boy at Hoshijima Kaiyo High School, which is attended by people from Tokyo. Nozomi, whose body always moves before she thinks, meets Ten by chance, and the two end up going to the beach together.
The cover of this issue features Asami Hanamoto's ``100 things I would like to recommend after retiring from the entertainment industry''. Also, in the next issue to be released on April 3rd, Kyoko Kumagai's ``Tokyo § Shinro'' will reach its final episode.
