New Updates for Petals of Reincarnation: 3rd PV and Massive Cast Reveal
The hype for the upcoming TV anime Petals of Reincarnation (known in Japan as Hanapetal of the Link Carnation) is reaching its peak. Based on the popular manga by Mikihisa Konishi, the production team has finally dropped the 3rd PV and the 3rd key visual. This is quite a big deal because we also got a massive update regarding the voice cast. Ten additional cast members have been announced all at once, and it includes some very big names like Katsuyuki Konishi, Yoshimasa Hosoya, and Natsuki Hanae. Seeing such a talented lineup really makes you understand why you need to read and watch this rebirth thriller as soon as it releases.

The Story and Character Roles
For those who are new to the series, the story follows Touya Ougiji, a high school boy who feels he has no special talent. His life takes a wild turn when he meets Luo Buffet, a "Mawarimono" or "Returner" who has gained incredible skills from a past life using something called the "Branches of Reincarnation". It is a very unique concept where characters essentially inherit the genius or criminal prowess of historical figures. This high-stakes narrative is exactly the reason why you need to read and watch this rebirth thriller to fully grasp the intensity of these battles.
Regarding the new cast members and their roles:
- Katsuyuki Konishi will be voicing Ogiwa, who is the leader of the Sinner Army—a dangerous group of outlaws who have awakened their criminal talents.
- Yoshimasa Hosoya takes on the role of Kitazukasai. He is the commander of the Special Self-Defense Force's Kurokei Unit and happens to be Touya's older brother.
- Natsuki Hanae is playing Minami Minami, a member of the Kurokei Unit and the head of the Outlaw Research Office.
The list does not end there! We also have Miyu Tomita, Ayumu Murase, Masaaki Mizu, Daisuke Namikawa, Takahiro Sakurai, Shuhei Sakaguchi, and Nobuo Tobita joining the team. It is honestly one of the most stacked casts we have seen for a Spring 2026 anime.

Clash of Factions and Musical Updates
The third PV gives us a proper look at the various factions, including the Great Forest of Heroes and the Sinner Army. Each group is aiming for their own version of "world peace," leading to some very intense battle scenes. We also get to see more of the struggle Touya and Haito Luo Buffet face while pursuing their own talents. Another highlight of the trailer is the reveal of the ending theme song, titled "Zero" by Sizuk, which perfectly fits the dark and mysterious tone of the show.

Broadcast Details
The wait is almost over for the fans. Starting with the fastest broadcast on TOKYO MX at 24:30 on April 2nd, the anime will be available across several networks. It will also be shown on BS Nippon Television, CBC, and AT-X shortly after. Make sure to mark your calendars because this is definitely going to be a highlight of the season.
