View in high quality
The postcard depicts a scene in which Akari and Takaki, both young children, are facing each other across a railroad crossing while cherry blossom petals are dancing. This scene is only included in the PV for the theme song ``One more time, One more chance'' of ``5 Centimeters Per Second'' produced by director Makoto Shinkai, and does not appear in the main movie.
"5 Centimeters per Second" is a work released in 2007. At the revival screening, a 13-minute special video featuring director Shinkai and the production staff looking back at the time of production and reminiscing about their memories at the filming locations will also be screened. Movie tickets based on the letter sent from Akari to Takaki in the movie are on sale at some theaters showing the movie. Advance movie tickets can be purchased online at Meijer and MOVIE WALKER STORE.

In honor of the cherry blossoms, which are an important motif in the film, a project titled "Sakura Front Screening" will be held. Screening will begin on March 20th in theaters from western Japan to southern Kanto, and on the 27th in theaters from northern Kanto to Hokkaido. The number of screening theaters has also expanded to 68. It will be screened on 35mm film at 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku.
