Shotaro Ono's one-shot ``Oshikatsu Basketball'', based on the original work by Ryota Ono, was released on Shonen Jump + today, March 5th.
``Oshikatsu Basketball'' begins with Hiyori, a middle school girl, despairing over the death of her favorite character, the angel Michael. One day, Hiyori finds a photo of Yuki Kuon, a talented basketball girl who looks just like Michael. Thinking, ``Michael-sama has become a human and appeared in front of me,'' she researches where Yuki, who was the same age as her and was a famous player, will go to college, and joins the prestigious basketball team at the same high school as Yuki, even though she is a beginner.
