Volume 1 of Matsu Honami's ``Bride of the Underworld: The Case of Hell Depends on the Bride'' was released today, March 17th. This is a comic adaptation based on Chiaki Takayama's novel.
The story is set in the depths of hell, the Ten Provinces of the Underworld. Midori, a girl who has the power to return to the origin and restore broken things, but has no horns or spiritual power and has been discriminated against as a "horn pear" endures a harsh environment every day. One day, she was being punished at her place of employment, and the person who saved her was Tenka, a young man who called himself a dark official of the Enma Agency. Amaka gives Midori a permit to join the Enma Agency when she asks to accompany her to find her younger brother, who she has not heard from. However, it turns out that it is a special tag given to King Enma's potential bride... The encounter between a girl with supernatural powers and a mysterious young man eventually causes trouble in hell. Volume 1 also included short stories written by Takayama.
