Otoha's ``Inquisitor Theodore Oranje and the Lone Wolf Knight@COMIC'' volume 1 was released by TO Books today, March 1st. This is a comic adaptation based on Nanao Nanao's novel.
The story is set in a world where all living things are endowed with magical powers. Theodore, a genius magician, is assigned to the Knights of Jeremiah's Holy Scriptures, the base of his natural enemy, as an inquisitor to investigate a case. As soon as he arrives, he is assigned a mission in a dangerous forest. Accompanying him as an escort is his rugged but loyal deputy, Law. The two are in conflicting positions, but as they explore each other, they begin to recognize each other's abilities. Theodore approaches Lowe with the idea of finding out the identity of the mystery that the knights have been having for many years. This is a ``Gothic mysterious fantasy'' in which a magician and a knight, two natural enemies, pursue the truth. The book includes a manga drawn by Otoha, character designs by Theodore and Lowe, and a novel written by Nanao.
