Subaru Kotori is a high school girl who started living alone away from her parents due to the debt her father made. Subaru struggles to live without relying on anyone, but his new life is already on the verge of collapse as he is unable to cook or do laundry. The person who cares about Subaru is Hikaru Tohasaki, a classmate and the son of the landlord who lives in the next room. Subaru wants to live without relying on others, but Hikari, who is caring and has perfect life skills, feels free to get closer to him... The work is currently being serialized in Desert (Kodansha).
