The first volume of Ayami Kanemori's 'Moeko Hatake and Temple Food', co-authored by Masayuki Kusumi and supervised by Kakuho Aoe, was released today, May 15th.

A Heartwarming Story of Self-Discovery
The main character of this work is Moeko Wakairo, a 27-year-old office lady who has been forced to take a leave of absence due to overwork. Moeko regains her vitality while growing vegetables in her parents' garden. Moeko reunites with her childhood friend Hotaka, a serious boy, for the first time in several years, and receives strength from the vegetarian cuisine he cooks, and enjoys a life without trying too hard.
The same work also features characters from 'Sachi's Temple Gohan' created by Kusumi, Aoe, and Kanemori. It is currently being serialized in Elegance Eve (Akita Shoten).

As Moeko navigates her new life, she learns to appreciate the simple things and finds joy in the everyday moments. With the support of her friends and family, Moeko is able to heal and find her place in the world.
