Witch Hat Atelier: New Support Illustration Project for Upcoming Anime

There is some really great news for fans waiting for the Witch Hat Atelier anime adaptation. A very special supporting illustration project has officially kicked off, featuring various famous manga artists and illustrators. This project is basically a countdown celebration for the TV anime, which is based on the original masterpiece by Kamome Shirahama (also known as O Shirahama). It is quite a big deal because we are seeing some of the industry's best talents coming together to show their love for this magical series.

The illustrations are being released one by one on the official X account of "Atelier of the Pointed Hat." This rollout started on March 29th and will keep going until April 5th, which is just one day before the actual broadcast begins. If you are looking for more details, you can check out everything you need to know about the manga and upcoming anime to stay updated with all the latest happenings. For the very first day, we got a beautiful drawing of Coco, Keefree (Kiefly), Agathe, and Boudemushi. They are shown wearing those iconic flying shoes that let them float in the air while using the "Medalist" hanging raft.

Famous Manga Artists Joining the Celebration

The lineup for this project is honestly quite massive. It is not just random artists, but creators of some very popular series are participating. It is very heart-warming to see these creators supporting each other. Here is a list of some of the artists who will be contributing their artwork in the coming days:

  • Kimiko Urino (the creator of Alice, the Universe)
  • TAa (the artist behind Emiya Family's Today's Meal)
  • Tsubasa Yamaguchi (the famous creator of Blue Period)
  • Kore Yamazaki (the mastermind behind The Ancient Magus' Bride)
  • The popular Illustrator Unit Gurihiru
  • Talented illustrators like Mizutame Tori and Aruko Wada

This wide range of styles will surely give us some very unique perspectives on Coco and her friends. It is one of those reasons why Witch Hat Atelier has such a huge following even before the anime has aired. The art in the manga is already top-tier, and seeing it through the eyes of other legends is just the icing on the cake.

Anime Broadcast and Story Details

For those who are marking their calendars, Witch Hat Atelier will start broadcasting on TOKYO MX and other channels from April 6th. The story is quite magical and follows a young girl named Coco. She has always dreamed of becoming a wizard but was born without any magical powers. However, things change when she accidentally discovers a "absolute secret" of the wizarding world. She then becomes a disciple of a mysterious young wizard named Keefree and enters a world full of wonder and danger.
