Additional cast and 4th image visual for the anime "Suikoden" have been released.
This was announced today on March 29th at the "Suikoden" stage held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. Atsushi Kasama will play the role of Kurgan, a member of the 4th Corps of the Highland Kingdom, Teijo Matsuoka will play the role of Seed, and Megumi Han will play the role of Recknat, a woman who bears the ``Crest of the Sect'', one of the 27 true emblems. In addition, Shota Hayama will play the role of Gengen, who will be a friend of Lilyu and his friends, Kinosuke Watanuki will play the role of Rikimaru, Saya Hitomi will play the role of Rina, Mizuta Unno will play the role of Airi, and Yusuke Sasaki will play the role of Bolgan.
The 4th image visual shows Lilyu and Joey holding their weapons and looking ahead with strong will. In addition, the Mad Prince Luca Bright is depicted standing behind him with a fearless smile on his face.
The anime "Suikoden", which will begin broadcasting in October, is a visual adaptation of "Suikoden II", one of the most popular games in the "Suikoden" series. The story depicts how the main character, Lilyu, and his best friend, Joey, who belong to the child soldier unit of the Highland Kingdom, which possesses a powerful military force, walk based on their beliefs even though they are swallowed up by the vortex of fate brought on by the flames of war.
