The TV anime "Awashima Hyakkei" based on the original work by Takako Shimura will begin broadcasting on Fuji TV and other channels on April 9th. New cast and ending theme song information, 4th character visual, and 3rd PV have been released.
``Awashima Hyakkei'' is a youth graffiti depicting the daily lives of girls at the Awashima Opera School, where girls who dream of appearing on stage gather. It has been announced that the new cast members will be playing the role of Sara Kotoriyu, a trio of close friends who have entered the Awashima Revue Academy, along with Kana Ichinose, Risa Shimizu as Eri Fujisawa, and Asuna Tomari as Shizuka Utagawa. The ending theme song has been decided to be "Hikari" by Mika Nakashima. Along with this announcement, comments have arrived from the three new cast members and Nakajima.
The fourth character visual depicts Sara, Eri, and Shizuka. The third PV shows the school life of a trio of close friends who encourage each other and struggle toward their dreams, as well as the students of Awashima Opera School struggling in pursuit of their dream of ``standing on stage.'' In addition to a portion of the sound source of ``Hikari'' sung by Nakajima, you can also hear the voices of new characters played by Ichinose, Shimizu, and Tomari.
