Aya Uchida, Shoya Chiba, Tomoaki Maeno, Koji Yusa, and Kosuke Toriumi have been announced as additional cast members of the TV anime ``Heaven is Red River no Banks'' based on the original work by Chie Shinohara.

``Heaven is on the Red River'' is a historical fantasy story in which Yuri, a girl living in modern-day Japan, suddenly travels back in time to the Hittite Empire in the 14th century BC. Yuri meets Kyle, the prince of the empire, and becomes his concubine, and soon becomes famous as Ishtar, the goddess of war... The original work was serialized in Girls' Comics (Shogakukan) from 1995 to 2002. In the TV anime, the main character Yuri will be played by Mirei Tachibana, and the role of the talented and talented prince Kyle Mursili will be played by Wataru Kato.

Uchida plays the role of Nakia, the empress who summons Yuuri as a curse sacrifice in order to have her son ascend to the throne. In addition, Chiba will play the role of Zananza Hattusili, the fourth prince of the Empire, who is Kyle's younger brother and his most trusted confidant, and Maeno will play the role of Il Bani, Kyle's famous staff officer and royal clerk. Yusa will also play the role of Urhi, a mysterious aide who plots a conspiracy to make Nakia's wishes come true. Chokai was cast in the role of Mattiwaza, the crown prince of the Mitanni Kingdom, who later stands in front of Yuri and his friends. Also released are scene cuts that capture the appearances of the newly announced characters. Comments were also received from five additional cast members.

The TV anime will be broadcast on Nippon Television and BS Nippon Television from July. The director is Kosuke Kobayashi, the series composition is Yoriko Tomita, and the animation production is Tatsunoko Productions.
