It has been decided that Nobu Mikami's novel "Biblia Koshodo no Jiken Techo" will be made into a TV anime in 2027. CloverWorks will be in charge of animation production. In addition, the main cast, staff, teaser visuals, and teaser PV were released all at once.
"Biblia Koshodo's Incident Notebook" is a mystery novel that is celebrating its 15th anniversary since the release of the first work and has sold over 8.5 million copies in total. The story is set at Biblia Old Bookstore, where guests with old books and secrets visit, and Shiori Shinokawa, the shop owner who has a passion for books, deciphers the mysteries and stories hidden in the old books brought in. The work was made into a TV drama in 2013 and a movie in 2018.
In the TV anime, the main character, Shioriko Shinokawa, will be played by Riko Akechi, and Daisuke Goura will be played by Shunsuke Takeuchi. The director is Mamoru Kobe, the assistant director is Ayako Kurata, the series composition is Toshiya Ohno, the character design and chief animation director is Jun Nakai, and the music is by Takahiro Obata.
